about me

I've been a professional body piercer since 2013 and have been a proud APP (association of professional piercers) member since 2016. For the last 8 years I have been working at Stone Heart Body Art, Sydney's first APP studio where I was able to learn, grow and refine my skills at the highest level in our industry.From a young age I have been totally enamoured by body modification, I love the idea that humans throughout history have had the urge to decorate and mark their body. It is something so primal in our nature, and now I can carry on the tradition in a safe and controlled environment.A big perfectionist, I strive to give you the best service and experience. I love my job, I am proud of the work I do, and I have fun doing it. I love being able to help others feel comfortable in their own skin.Getting pierced can be scary and intimidating, so I will do anything I can to make my clients feel safe and secure. I hope your experience can be fun and light-hearted, with a positive memory attached to it. I've been pierced so many times throughout my life so I know exactly how daunting it can be - I pierce you the way I would want to be pierced.I truly want the best for my clients, so you can expect honesty from me - I'm not going to pierce you if I don't think it will heal. I pride myself on being clean, fast and efficient. 01 age restrictions

Do I need ID?
Yes - you will need a valid ID to be pierced regardless of age.How old do I need to be to be pierced?
If you are under 18 years old, you will need to be accompanied by your legal guardian with their valid ID, as well as ID to prove guardianship (for example a medicare card with both your names on it)
Children's ear piercing are 5+ years old
Navel piercings are 16+ years
Nipples and genitals are strictly 18+ years

02 On the day

Can I bring a friend with me?
Absolutely! Please feel free to bring in your designated hand-holder or moral support team. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable is totally fine with me. I even offer deals for group bookings if your friends wanna get pierced too!What should I do beforehand?
Have a good night's sleep, drink plenty of water and make sure you've eaten a substantial meal before you piercing. If you are prone to feeling light-headed or dizzy, I would also suggest bringing a sugary drink with you. I have lollies here ready to go if you need a sugar hit after your piercing too. Remember to wash your bedding and linen so you have a clean and fresh environment for your new piercing.

How do I book in?

0422 247 147What if I'm late to my appointment?
There is a 10 minute policy on your booking, meaning if you are 10 or more minutes late to your appointment, you will unfortunately lose your deposit. Please try to give at least 2 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your booking. I try to be as accommodating as possible, so please call the shop phone on 0422 247 147 ASAP so I can try to rearrange your appointment and you can keep your deposit. Please be considerate of not only my time, but the time of my other clients. If you are late, the rest of the day is delayed.

04 jewellery

Can I be pierced with my own jewellery?
I am happy to use your own jewellery as long as it meets APP standards and is suitable for your anatomy and initial healing. You will be charged a service fee + a sterilisation fee. If you are unsure whether your jewellery meets minimum requirements, please contact me in advance.Do you offer anodising?
Yes! I can anodise (colour) your jewellery for no extra cost.Can I be pierced with a ring?
In most cases, no. I recommend waiting until your piercing is fully healed before installing a ring. There are some exceptions, for example daiths and septums which I pierce with rings as initial jewellery. Patience is key!Do you offer jewellery styling / curations?
Yes I do! During your styling / curation appointment I will assess your anatomy and let you know what would work, what won't work, discuss jewellery selection and establish an appropriate structure and timeline for your project. Your deposit will either go towards a piercing or jewellery.What if my jewellery breaks?
All of my jewellery is guaranteed for life. If your jewellery breaks, bring it in and I will send it back to the manufacturer to be repaired or replaced. In the meantime, I will replace it with a basic titanium piece free of charge.

05 hygiene

Do you do spore testing?
Yes, I do monthly spore testing through Mesa Labs. This is to ensure all my sterilisation equipment is working properly, which ensures complete sterilisation of all necessary tools and jewellery.Is everything clean?
100%! I use aseptic technique which means everything I use is either single use or sterilised. Even my gloves are sterile (which is not a legal requirement). Everything is thoroughly cleaned between each client. Every year I complete a blood borne pathogens (BBP) course, so I am always up to date with hygiene standards.

06 Accessiblity

Is this a safe space?
All people are welcome and appreciated here. Our differences are what make us beautiful and unique, and I believe that is something to be celebrated. My online booking system and consent forms also have the option to include your pronouns and preferred names.Is the studio accessible?
Yes, the studio is wheelchair accessible and during your appointment I can cater to individual needs.Do you offer silent appointments?
Yes! I offer "silent" appointments for all my sensory sensitive sweeties. You can request this through the online booking system, or contact me beforehand. During a silent appointment, I will skip the small talk and just give you the relevant information you need. Music and lights will be kept to a comfortable minimum and you are more than welcome to bring a support person.

07 integrity

Why did you say no to piercing me?
I will try my best to provide you with the service you are hoping for, or suggest suitable alternatives. But there are a few reasons I may say no:
- If you have too many piercings healing at once
- If your anatomy is not suited for the piercing you want
- If you have chosen jewellery that is not appropriate for initial healing
- If you do not have valid ID
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- If you are unable or unwilling to complete the consent form
- If you have a medical condition or are currently taking medication that will drastically affect your body's ability to heal the piercing
- If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs
- If you are rude, aggressive, intolerant or creepy towards myself or anyone else at the studio
